South Dakota Road Trip - September, 2010 - Part 1

This year we decided to take a road trip to South Dakota via Thackerville, Oklahoma. (Pause to wonder about the sanity of Joel and Kim.)

Saturday morning we dropped off our babies at the vet and set out south on the turnpike.

No, Joel and Kim are not high rollers.  We went to see Lewis Black and his show was well worth the drive to the Oklahoma-Texas border.

Next morning we set off for South Dakota by way of the scenic byways of Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska.  (Yes, there are scenic byways in Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska.)
