Vermillion Cliffs along Hwy Alt 89We stopped at the Cliff Dwellers Lodge on Hwy Alt 89 to eat dinner and spend the night. If you visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon it is worth the drive to eat at the Cliff Dwellers Restaurant - delicious food and excellent service.
In the 1930's, a woman's car broke down near the location where Cliff Dwellers is now. She fell in love with the area, bought property and built the Rock House you see below.
