Grand Canyon - North Rim

Hwy 67 leading to the North Rim.

The meadow abounds with deer, particularly at dusk.

I had to take a photo of a ground squirrel at the Grand Canyon.

The ground squirrels were abundant on the Paiute Trail...

except when I had my camera in my hands.

I ventured out to one of the lookout points and Joel stayed behind at the Lodge.

One of about 50 deer we saw beside the road as we ventured out of the park at dusk.
